For Uncle Al Weiner, that question had a simple answer. After serving his country in World War II, Al returned home with a deep sense of pride—pride in the United States, pride in hard work, and pride in doing things the right way. In 1957, in a small garage on the north side of Chicago, Al and his three brothers-in-law started a company that would carry that pride forward for nearly seven decades.

They named it U.S. Waterproofing & Foundation Repair. Not just for the service they provided, but for the values they held. The “U.S.” represented Uncle Al’s love for his country and his belief that American business should stand for something more than profit—it should stand for integrity, honesty, and treating every customer with the respect they deserve.
