Glenview Basement Waterproofing
L.M. from Glenview
Better late than never and since you’re the owner I thought you should know how things went with Jason and Alexander. I thought Jason did a very thorough job with the water hose to spot the trouble areas. His alternative plan on the west side of my house made it more affordable which I really appreciated, because as I told him the last person out here didn’t give me any options and just said $5000.00.
The east side of my house had been repaired by US Waterproofing back in 1986 or 87, but I was told that was not under any warranty for lifetime just ten years. So, Alexander did the best he could to get down the four feet, but could only go about 18” to 2 feet. He ended coming into the house and injecting something into the crack. He said if it leaked I would need to tell US Waterproofing I would need the grout machine. ( At least that’s what I think he said.) I did notice that the small hand held jack hammer is not suffice for a job to go down that far on old clay. I was told however that the east side of the house is under lifetime warranty now.
Both, Alex and Jason did an excellent job and were very informative with what they were doing.
The best news is that we’ve had some heavy rain since then and we’ve had NO Water.
So thanks.”Back to top
