“Last year I had your staff out to water­proof my base­ment; there were many cracks, espe­cial­ly fol­low­ing the drought.
After our recent del­uge of 9” of rain on top of an already-sat­u­rat­ed ground sur­face, I found one small pud­dle in the base­ment. Fear­ing that one of the cracks had leaked, I called and sched­uled an appoint­ment. Your staff per­son polite­ly told me that the pud­dle was prob­a­bly due to pres­sure on the ​“cove”, and that none of the cracks had leaked.
He called your office and was giv­en per­mis­sion to apply some epoxy to the cove, stat­ing sev­er­al times that it is not guar­an­tee that it wouldn’t hap­pen again. He made it cer­tain that I under­stood that.
You didn’t have to give him per­mis­sion to do that; it didn’t take much time, but it made me feel 100% bet­ter! I had the walls and floor paint­ed after you were here and I didn’t want to have to deal with a water problem.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for allow­ing him to apply the epoxy. It may do the trick since we only have those 100-year floods every two years! But it was ​“above and beyond” which nev­er seems to hap­pen any­more, and I appre­ci­ate it.
I will rec­om­mend your ser­vice, and already have, to my friends and fam­i­ly. It pays to be nice.”
